About Etsuko Morita
For nearly two decades, Etsuko Morita Fields has dedicated her life’s work to strengthen intercultural relations between the U.S. and Japan through real estate. Born and raised in Tokyo, Etsuko had a decade-long career as an Intercultural Trainer, contracted by the U.S. Navy, to assist over 16,000 service members and families adapt to life in Japan. This position led to a natural transition to real estate. Figuring out what a client desires takes time, focus, and energy since there’s no cookie-cutter solution, yet it’s the most important step in building a trusting relationship. By paying attention to what her clients say and do, she sees the market through their eyes and knows exactly how to assist them in a timely manner.
Providing personable expertise every step of the way is what Etsuko does best. Etsuko is involved in a multitude of organizations that act as a bridge between the Asian community and Hawaii including, the Asian American Real Estate Association, Hawaii International Real Estate Committee, Japan America Society of Honolulu, Japanese Chamber of Commerce, and Japanese Culture Center. Always evolving, Etsuko has earned her Certified International Property Specialist, Luxury Collections Specialist, and Military Relocation Specialist designations. Her success as a top producer is evident due to awards and nominations from Business Magazine, Honolulu Magazine, Aloha 'Aina REALTOR® Awards, and inter-company awards with a global brand, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai’i Realty.
Etsuko and her husband, Dave, first moved to O’ahu in 2000 due to his career in the U.S. Navy, and despite several out-of-state moves, kept coming back as they loved the openness of the Hawaiian people and how they have deep ties to their history and culture. Etsuko and her husband, now retired and in their forever home, are blessed to raise their two daughters here. As an active member of the community, Etsuko has volunteered her time with several real estate organizations both in leadership and member capacity as well as the Pearl Harbor Officer Spouses Club. Etsuko still makes time to have fun through crafting, jogging, reading, spending time with friends, and making it a point to cook dinner every night with her family.
